Adult Halloween costumes - if you're over 40, what's age appropriate but still sexy?

how about you dress like a catholic peadophile priest

OP, perhaps you can dress as a sexy cavity?

A sexy bed pan changer?

A sexy sewage worker?

I think it is awesome that OP and her husband still get a kick out of flirting, being attractive and turning each other on. My DH and I are so boring, stressed, and tired right now that this thread has inspired me to be a little more extroverted and vamp it up!

Halloween is for the young and the young at heart.

So I refuse to grow up completely.

Oh, if you could pull it off you probably would feel different. Halloween is about make-believe, honey. That's the point.

I am not the PP, but I agree with her/him. I do have a nice body, and I don't have anything against dressing in a sexy manner, but I still think it's sad that most women reach for the sexy costumes rather than the fun ones on Halloween. It's the one day of the year to be silly and dress up in a cool costume- I can dress up sexily any day (and my daily outfits aren't what you'd call conservative...) so I take advantage of Halloween as a time to wear a kickass outfit, not a boner-inducing outfit.

If you don't have anything against dressing in a sexy manner, then I don't see why you think it's such a big deal for women to do it on Halloween of all days. It's not like they did it in the workplace, at church, or on the playground. They don't have to be silly or cool just because you prefer it.

This reminds me of that episode of 30 Rock...

But I don't have the opportunity to dress sexy any other time. I work 50 hours a week in a conservative industry and have two young kids. When we go out, it's not to someplace I can wear something sexy.

Does anyone remember the awesome Halloweens at Whitey's in Arlington? In the early 1990s, my girlfriends and I had a "devil" of a good time dressing up and hanging out there. One of the best Halloweens ever. There were still pictures of us on the walls when the place closed
