BTW, Obama may well try and do a little immigration reform for 2012, there remains some Republicans who have come to terms with the browning of America and who don't believe non-whites are innately incapable of integrating into mainstream American society.

You're distorting the viewpoint of those Republicans who do not think that illegal immigrants should be allowed to access the same benefits as those who immigrated to the US legally. That doesn't mean they don't appreciate and welcome the integration of "non-whites into mainstream American society," as you phrased it.

I started this thread. (I usually forget to log in.) Someone "accused" me of being Jeff, which is strange, as he apparently has no problem posting his similar views under his name.
