Potomac covers a lot of territory. Some of it is next door to Bethesda. Some of it is much further out, but the expensive houses may be on huge lots.

It's not a question as to whether there are sales of expensive houses in Potomac. There are - more sales over $1M this month in 20854 than in either 20817 or 20816. The issue (or "problem" depending on where you sit) is that there's a huge inventory of expensive homes out there. In that respect, it's different from Bethesda, where there are lots of older, small houses available as well to those with smaller appetites and wallets.
