What's TTT?

BTW, DH as a 5th year associate made $275K (started @ $125K), and then left for the gov. So, I know that there are some firms out there whose junior partners make more than that.

actually, junior partners often end up with essentially a temporary paycut compared to senior associates, because they are responsible for their own health care and other things, and the salary doesn't go up. I graduated from law school in 2002 and this is starting to happen to my friends who hung in there.

This is true for the first year as junior partner, but very quickly and dramatically corrects itself.

"non-equity partners at TTT firms make $150K-$225K"

... I correct myself @11:02 -- then they're making less per hour than a GS-15/10, lol.

nah. TTT firms don't work people too hard. Weekends are very very rare. Home by 6:30. Probably same hours as the feds. Good thing about regional firms is it is much easier to make equity partner - not a pipe dream. Once you are an equity, salaries more in the $300K-$400K range. Sure, much less than BigLaw, but easy money (comparatively).

Partner at Wilmer, $780K.

As a senior associate, I make $280-$300K with bonus. If I make partner, I expect that to modestly increase for the first year, but with offsetting expenses like health care (though my firm pays less and less of that as you become more senior). My firm doesn't have non-equity partners.

Wow, so glad I'm in house. I made $240K with bonus last year and was home almost every night for dinner.

Gosh, if you don't want to, just don't click on the Big Law threads.

Would you mind sharing a few non-identifying details? Industry, size of company, your title?
