also, a lot of runners just don't get the same buzz from biking that we do from running. I've honestly never seen the appeal. I've tried it and I get bored, and it's a big investment in equipment (bike, helmet, etc.) for something that might bore me. |
OP: Thanks everyone for the terrific suggestions and ideas. I wish I could try this yoga studio you are all so enthusiastic about, but it is just not an option for me to haul to Georgetown (even from very close by Arlington) for an evening post-dinnertime yoga class. But I am going to look for some power yoga near me and also look into biking on the weekends. Thanks again. |
OP - if you're in Arlington, check out Golds - there aren't a ton of yoga classes, but there are a few good ones at various Arlington gyms. |
