HOLY SHIT Weiner's wife is pregnant

Anonymous
And just so we're clear, Hilary didn't want POTUS in exchange "for the cheating" per se, it's just that she's a brilliant lawyer and just smart all round and would have really earned a shot at being an excellent POTUS, but alas, it was not meant to be.

Huma
doesn't need your simpering outrage. She didn't get where she is by standing around wringing her hands and screaming why? Why me? She would probably slap all you people telling her husband to resign and tell you to get over yourselves. Hilary didn't leave Bill and and now she's the g*ddamned Secretary of State. People need to stfu and let a smart woman handle her own wayward husband.

But Hilary is old (school) and was hoping for POTUS in exchange for all the cheating. That didn't work out for her. Huma is younger. Will she follow Elin and divorce his ass? Not sure. But maybe she'll put up with that shit since she works in politics. Oh well.

Hahahahah. ah hah. You're saying Elin in the same sentence as Hilary and Huma? Hahahahahahahaha. ah hahhh. Not really, no. They are not even in the same ballpark. But, yeah, Secretary of State is a pretty good trade off, wouldn't you say? I mean, as compared with being an ex-nanny former wife of a golf player, I mean. *snort* A smart, educated woman can drive a more powerful bargain here, old school or not, some things never change.

So it's okay to put up with a philandering spouse so you can further your own career? I see. But you have to admit that $100M? for a former nanny in her early thirties isn't too bad for someone who never finished college.

Is it OK? No. No one would choose these fates. But when presented with this scenario, it would be wise to reflect on one's career future. And yes, there is no shortage of under educated women who have married and divorced for money and traded on their looks alone. I consider Hilary's playbook to be a major step forward.

Is Hilary's playbook similar to making lemonade out of lemons?

I'm a Democrat and a feminist, and I still think that whether it's a playbook or making lemonade out of lemons, it's gotta be heartbreaking to see your child go through what Chelsea did. How could someone as smart as HRC not have seen what she was getting herself into when she married Bubba? Love is some powerful juju.

I can't believe there are people who DON'T think he should resign. Is this the type of person who we want making our laws and acting as role models for our kids? Liars?

I am so disappointed with how low our society is sinking in terms of aspirations.

You're naive if you think Weiner's in the minority in terms of behavior. He got caught. Most don't.

I'm a fairly conservative voter--more of a moderate Republican, probably--and I do think she would have made an excellent POTUS. I admire her greatly!

Truly, I can't believe you think most men would conduct themselves the way he has. They don't. There are plenty of good guys out there who don't act like this at all.

Don't you harpies have anything better to discuss?

Feel free to call concerned voters anything you want. His completely sleazy behavior disgusts me (and many others), and he should resign.

Evidently it's a topic of discussion, even within the Democratic Party.

Oh, I think it's fair to say that a few folks in the party are discussing the situation . . .
