kids don't like staying in the basement playroom - what to do?

| Do you have an eat-in kitchen? If so, perhaps the dining room could become a dedicated playroom? This is what we do at our house, and it works well. The kids are pretty good at keeping their toys in the playroom because it's right off the kitchen and living room, where I normally am if I'm not with them. |
