It was definitely not right for me. My ovulation was in the middle of the month so no chance we miscalculated either.

It was right both times. Can't hurt to try.

So what if you have boy/girl twins?

This is the most accurate gender prediction chart with lunar age and month conversion.

Chinese gender chart predicted a girl, the urine test from cvs predicted a girl; sono and amnio (i'm 42 y) confirmed it is a boy.

ironically, the non lunar calendar one was correct for every one i know (my first, 8 of my friends, my mom and my 2 cousins).

I'm confused how this works with the PP saying to do your age based on the lunar calendar and +1 for the in-utero year, but regardless this link predicted wrong for my DS and also for my current pregnancy.

Use this one: http://www.thelaboroflove.com/chart/pred.html

It figures out the correct Chinese lunar age for you. But of course the prediction is not 100% correct. It's just for fun but you might as well do it right if you're using the chart.

Using this one, it was wrong for me for both. Said both were girls, and my first is a boy, and this one is too.

Despite the fact that I'm Chinese and my mother still likes to look up the good days/dates for events and such, you do know that it is statistically impossible for it to be accurate all the time, right? If all 18 year old mothers who had children in January only had male children, that would be pretty amazing statistically.

I go along with things as often as possible to make my mother happy. Fortunately, she's not unreasonable, she advises good and bad days, but then rolls with whatever gets scheduled if it is based on more practical issues.
