One additional thought to add - Although the administration did apologize, I don't think they ever truly took ownership for the failures we noticed. That was a red flag for us. We left the school.

Where did you go instead? I understand if that's too personal, but am curious about the universe of schools out there.

I appreciate your question. As you probably already know, the choice of school depends on the child's needs. That said, I hesitate to recommend schools since, in the end, it's comes down to the the right match for your child. There are a vast number of schools for children with learning challenges and some are impressive, such as Maddux School, The Lab School, The Summit School and The Siena School. But, that's just my opinion and others might differ.
