| Just buy one. Stick it under your bed. |
Seriously? You can go to the dr next month for a weigh in but can’t get weighed there now? Can’t buy a scale and hide it. It’s a better solution to weigh yourself by sneaking on to a scale while pretending to be interested in joining a gym, or a postal or animal scale? You don’t want a real solution…you want things your way. Just odd to be so resistant to the easiest solution. But if you really want to make it hard, buy one, weigh yourself before the medication starts and return it. |
| How does weighing yourself once really help? If you are concerned about weight changes you will need to do it again at some point. Buy a scale. Donate it if you end up not needing it |
| If you're concerned about you obsessively weighing yourself - hide the batteries away from the scale. |
She doesn’t, but thanks for your input. |
You don’t own a scale now and you know you are losing weight. You don’t need a scale to tell you what your pants already already show. If you lose weight, won’t you see it in the mirror? Won’t your clothes becomes looser? |
| Just get a scale and hide it in the back of your closet. |
I can take off work, and pay for an uber for a two hour round trip (can’t drive right now due to the condition which is impacting my vision) for a specialist visit for a potentially life threatening condition, and yet not want to do so for something that could be done locally. Petsmart had no issues with me climbing on the scale btw. It seems wasteful to pay for an item and then return, which often results in the item in a landfill. I really don’t understand why my choice is making you so angry. |
Buy a scake and put it in the fitness center. |
| Scales are really cheap. Buy one, keep it out of sight, and give it away or leave it in your apt gym when you're done with it. |
DP. You want to avoid issues by buying and hiding a scale, but I don’t think you appreciate how batty it sounds to go weigh yourself instead at PetSmart. |
People of Walmart business, that. |
Why would you be afraid of a scale? |
| All of the grocery stores around me have scales and blood pressure cuffs. Look near the pharmacy. |
