Cosmetology school

I am the PP. I would also highly encourage your daughter to take marketing classes at a community college and/or professional sales training. The potential in the industry is HUGE. The problem is that most people who go into cosmetology or esthetics are not usually the most motivated (these kids end up going to a typical 4 year college). But if you get someone motivated in this field, who also has some business know how, the sky is the limit. Best of luck to your daughter.

When my daughter told me she was dropping out of college to go to cosmetology school, I had to take a breath as it was incongruous with my expectations of her getting a college degree. But she is on a path that is so clear and undeniable for her. And she is happy. Good luck to your daughter!

Best wishes to her! One of my cousin's took this path in her 30s after attending a four year college.

She has her own business now and is doing well! I just wish she'd thought to do it earlier!

If she can get skills in hair extensions, they are huge business in higher end salons.
