It’s Possible That SpaceX Could Collapse Spectacularly

My mistake, not earnings, revenue! It’s not even turning much of a profit yet.

The space part of SpaceX’s business is profitable. The AI part assuredly is not.

We are not in an AI stock bubble. What is true is that not all of these AI companies will make it and some will implode with a bang and others quietly. Some will be long term winners like Microsoft and to an extent Apple. Who knows which will make it. But those that do will be vauled a lot higher than they are today. Some will be worth zero.

As PP says -- SpaceX is a real company with lots and lots of profit and even more potential. SpaceX will be fine.

The liberal hatred of Elon Musk is a sight to behold. And all because he freed twitter from them so they couldn't censor and deplatform people for talking about truthful things anymore.

Musk is a complicated figure for sure, I don't like a lot of what he says, but he is still one of the most accomplished men of our times. Tesla is probably the finest car ever built. His rocket returning to earth was staggering. History will remember him.

He didn’t actually invent Tesla, he didn’t invent Twitter/X, and he came in and destroyed many federal agencies, which are now scrambling to rebuild. He is an overvalued hack / drug-fueled scam artist and yes history will remember him.

⬆️

Prime example of liberal derangement.

This is the MAGA way. Never a substantive response, just name-calling.

Everything I said is the truth. Just because you don’t like that doesn’t make me deranged. Not everyone worships narcissistic billionaires. Why are you so defensive of a person who literally doesn’t give a crap about anyone like you?

Everything you said is an opinion or irrelevant. There's no need to respond to any of it, and you definitely sound unhinged.

"derangement" = following a liar, con, and pedophile like he's Jesus.

TDS, well, first off, your boy who coined the term was arrested for Child sexual assault, as usual; Republicans are sick pedos. Second, "derangement" equals MAGA cult of stupidity, pedos and criminals that is the definition of deranged.

Love how this incoherent mess proves itself. Seek help, you still may be cured.

No, this one is too far gone.

Their main businesses are space exploration, global telecom and computing infrastructure. Too big to fail on all fronts. All of these fields are booming.

Most investment and retirement funds, even university endowments are buying so most people are buying it unless they liquidize their investments.

Also shares aren’t available to common people at this point.

Things were clearly suspect about IPO when he rolled X and xAI into at the last minute. The launch and starlink can be profitable mainstream service company. But that wouldn’t make Musk the first Trillionaire, hence so he is financially engineering at every avenue.

We got an offer to buy at a minimum of $25,000 so maybe not "common" but regular people.

It has nothing to do with politics. SpaceX is an incredibly innovative engineering company. But Musk and the investment banks are burdening it with an absurd amount of financial engineering. To justify a 1.75 trillion dollar valuation SpaceX will need to grow by 60-fold in the next five years alone. And Musk is dumping some serious money losers like Xai into the SpaceX IPO. Xai lost more than 6 billion last year alone. Everyone knows this is all a house of cards. SpaceX, Anthropic, and OpenAI are being priced at more than 3 trillion dollars. That's nuts. When the AI bubble pops, it's going to be spectacular.

Tech stocks and the World Wide Web “crashed” spectacularly in the 1999-2000 “dot com bubble” and look where things are now. AI is no different.

That’s not correct. You can.

SpaceX makes money -- just not with AI added to it.

That's scary now that you put it that way. I'm OUT. Thank you for the info. I've lived thru too many crashes including 1987. When the market turns, it can be on a dime.
