Federal Tax Exemption for DC Residents?

I personally LOVE the idea of no representation with no taxation. Have been hoping for this for a long time. Any chance of pushing it through????

Although I think that if we don't get representation we should certainly not be subject to taxation, we ought to stick to principle and back our likely Mayor in his push for statehood I think this not only because it is morally right to fight for principle, but because if we abandon principle, the Republicans will say that we are too greedy to deserve anything.
