I have more than 1/3 of an acre in DC and a great house but I wouldn’t come close to 11. |
| I love this house. |

I hope they're prepared to wait a long time. At that price point, houses sit, sometimes for years.
But I certainly appreciate that they did a good foundational job with the renos. The property deserves that sort of treatment! |

The house is a mishmash of style. But a beautiful mishmash.
I would never want my stove in front of the windows like that. I cook and I can imagine how gross the windows would be in one of month of living there. |
You know nothing about it, then. |
| Is it really a house if you have three kitchens in three different buildings? More like a compound, no? |
| This is like a dream house for me. Although I don’t like the open shelving in kitchens — it’s not practical for storage although it’s pretty in pictures. And I’m having trouble counting to 8 on the bedrooms. It looks like part of it is maybe a separate guest house? Might be nice if you have adult children working in the city. |
A suite over the garage and a suite in the pool house, each with a kitchen, so basically condos, hence my “compound” comment. |
| Thoughts about stove in front of windows? |
| The thing about spending 5M renovating a 4M house in a very niche style is you can’t expect to get much return on it. I’m sure there’s a buyer for it but not likely at that price. |
I have a foursquare on 1/3 acre, and I'm trying to figure out how they managed to squeeze a pool, the house and two other buildings into that space. It's a nice house, though. |
It's a bigger lot compared to other houses |
Look at the satellite image with property lines drawn over it, it will explain why. |
| I absolutely love it, downloaded some of the photos for my "dream house" build in a few years. The tone is lovely. |
| I love it |
