Any reason I’ll regret not packing tennis shoes for a beach vacation?

Some airports no longer make you take off your shoes. But yes, I'm annoyed with the airport rules. I do not want to wear sneakers to fly. I don't think I could sleep with tight shoes laced up all night. I like to change into thick, soft socks and slippers.

I always bring sneakers because I don’t wear sandals or flip flops in the rain and I can’t control the weather.

I also don’t wear flip flops or sandals on planes.

The reason many people wear proper shoes on the plane is for safety reasons during evacuations. You may have to run over glass, sharp metal and burning fuel.

If I bring them, I won't wear them. If I don't bring them, I wish I had them because of course then I randomly end up in an occasion that I wanted to wear sneakers haha.
