Many areas outside of DC are churning out higher quality players. We’ll get one here and there, but the game is coached much better in other hotbeds. |
| Capital girls go to better schools |
Alex Austin for both. |
Yes. BC recently in 2024. Multiple on 2021 UNC team. |

| Watched Michigan vs NW this weekend and there were several Cap players on both teams. |
| There is a misconception that these girls are great players because Capital turned them into great players. That's not the case. Capital does very little with respect to development unless you want to spend a fortune at Healthy Baller. The girls were good athletes and likely went to some of the better lacrosse high schools where they received above average guidance and training. Capital merely provides the opportunity to be seen by college coaches. Training and development are left up to the athlete. |
This is true. Capital is a machine now (I mean that is in the best way), but development is not its strong suit. Its the cover charge at the bar, but if you want to get better (a drink), you have to pay for separately for that. |
| SR player 3rd team ALL-ACC. |
But they are all at Yale, which they might not be otherwise. Well worth it if you ask me. |
Truth. Play 4 years at UMBC or whatever, versus playing last 1-2 years at Yale... Zoom out. Worth it. |
This MFer missed the forrest for the trees more than any other MFer in forrest and tree history - wow...... |
They were only correcting the inaccurate record about getting on the field. Some people do come on here for information. Forest has one r. |
Two spaces after a period hasn't been required since we retired the typewriter. Since we're playing The More You Know. |
