I highly recommend this series. It’s about a grandmother who is bored with her life and feels she needs more excitement and purpose, so she goes to the CIA and volunteers as a spy. The writing is great and they’re a delightful romp.

THANK YOU for the little backstory instead of just title and author.

Something a little different:

North of Ordinary by Sue Aikens

Memoir of a woman with a very troubled background who leaves it all behind to live in the wilds of Alaska. (She has also appeared on Life Below Zero)

I don't think I've seen anyone recommend this book. I read it ages ago and loved it! It's probably my favorite Liane Moriarty novel.

Yes, but I have to say I absolutely hated this book! Not a single likable character, reeked of white privilege ( must be nice to have so much time on your hands to overthink and indulge in your every immature whim) and the fact that the author decided that her 5-year-old should referred to as “they” was annoying as hell ( and no I’m not a MAGA for what that’s worth).

True. This book was a big waste of my time, though I didn't mind the "they".
