IMG is an overpriced education with overhyped teams. PVI smoked them in hoops too.

IMG goalie was solid but nothing special. PVI is very athletic and plays a tough physical game. Lots of turnovers on IMG, they didn’t have a good answer for the ten man ride.

Seems like PVI is for real this year.

In my eyes anytime you knock off an academy like program like an IMG, a Culver or Hill Academy, people take serious notice.

PVI will climb in the polls next week and after yesterday’s performance, I don’t think the Panthers will sneak up on anyone else this spring.

Huge win for the PVI program and the greater DMV too.

A bit surprised the Lil Hoyas needed OT to knock off Saint Mary's who likely won't even contend to make the MIAA playoffs this spring (top 6).

A win is a win, but Saint Mary's is no Spalding, Calvert Hall, St. Paul's (the dark horse in the MIAA this spring).

1. SJC - comparative game on Friday vs img
2. PVI - looking strong
3. GP - a win is a win
4. Landon - sad news from the bears
5. Bullis - swap
6. GC - more IAC to come
7. GZ - ??
8. Episcopal by default missing players but coming together
9. STA - gotta figure out how to score.
10. Potomac barely ahead of HM
HM
Heights - loss of wppoy seems to have really, really hurt
Publics - Langley ACL likely dims their chances, Yorktown, Robo. Someone will reveal themselves

Nice win for PVI, but curious if IMG is really that good. They have a 5 star attackman and a Maryland bound LSM, but I think everyone else on that team is pretty average. It will be interesting to see how SJC plays them on Friday.

IMG has 5 star goalie and #1 goalie in 2027 class.

Did forget about him, but everyone else is still very average. And the goalie is obviously very good, but overrated as #1 in the class. My prediction is that IMG loses a close one to McDonogh today and then gets blown out by SJC on Friday.

McDonogh is bad this year.

Worst McDonogh team in easily a decade with a new head coach.

SJC should beat the piss out of IMG as they will have film on them and it will be their 3rd game in 4 days…. Good scheduling by Speaks to play them last in the DC / Baltimore tour.

Great win for PVI, no doubt about it, they look really good. IMG is not on the same level as a Culver or Hill, not even close.

Not sure what your expectations for GP are coming off a losing record last season and a new coaching staff. GP beat St Mary's last season 12-11.
