I had to provide immunization records to a PA college before they attended |
| Emory (home of CDC) requires vaccination records- and a TB tests |
Yes, all my college students in the Northeast needed to have vaccination records submitted before they arrived on campus. It's probably more useful to know which universities do not require this. I'm not aware of any. |
But wouldn’t you have to submit proof of vaccination (if the schools requires this) at time of enrollment? I would think they would assign them housing and a move in date at all until you’ve provided records. |
What is wrong with you? People can die or get permanent brain damage from meningitis. It's not a joke. I hope that your child benefits from the good choices of others and avoids illness, quarantine, dorm closure, and all the other bad outcomes of a meningitis outbreak. |

Oh jeez. If you think vaccines will help, get your kid vaccinated. Personally, we did the meningitis vaccine. I would respect people's decision not to do it, though.
sitting and worrying about measles vaccines for an 18-22 year old population is, in my opinion, a waste of time and energy. You should spend your time reminding your kids not to look at instagram while driving, or crossing the road. These are much more dangerous activities for college age kids than potential complications from measles. |
Oh no. Were they vaccinated? |
This poster doesn't have a child, they ARE a child. It's summer, and the middle schoolers are online. |
And this poster is a troll.... |
Yikes! Which school doesn't check vaccine records.
|
Our kid can't enroll in classes without it. |
| ^ can't register for classes |
Far left crunchy granola places like Oregon and California have the worst vaccination rates. Thry were anti vax well before 2021. |
They didn't have to submit meningitis vaccine proof? FWIW, when whooping cough went through my kid's top 10 school 2 years ago, it was the foreign students who hot it, not the vaccinated US born kids. |
