I was going to suggest the Hilton Orlando. We do staycations here and the pool is top notch, but it’s very kid-friendly. Do you want more serene and quiet? Grande Vista would fit that bill more, but it’s a little outdated, in my ever humble opinion. Happy to answer any other questions!

I do have a question!! Is there any way to get out to one of the springs to kayak without a car? Like a tour that picks up from a hotel?

Also is the Mead Botanic Garden nice?

I want to see some Florida wildlife and plants. maybe I should just go to Gatorworld?

OP here. I don’t find trendy relaxing … or economical. Getting up, having coffee on my balcony, watching some birdies and looking at plants for the morning, still leaves me all day to sit by the pool!

I don’t mind kids! I have settled on Marriott Grande Vista which is CHEAP and has several pools. If too crowded I will do ResortPass for something like the Hilton a PP recommended. Then I will use the money I saved to go out to a really nice restaurant.

Embassy Suites San Juan or Dorado?

Honestly, I don’t understand why anyone travels to a beach and prefers to sit by a pool. Weird.

Embassy Suites San Juan isn’t ocean front but has lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach.

I love the view and sound of the ocean, but I hate sitting in sand. My perfect vacation spot is a pool with a view of the ocean.
