Chill until he outgrows where he is. You will know. He will ask for more training, etc.

The 1st team, top club blender is a mix more toxic than the Ivy league or bust environment. If you don’t have to be in that mix for your child, don’t join in the fray.

How much room/how many spots will VYS have for U9 next year? My kid is also repeating U9 and was on a low team at another club and we want to explore options.

About half of those spots will go to the current U9s who are either 2018 birthdays or late 2017 birthdays effected by the birth year --> school year change. Maybe more than half. My kid is on one of those 5 teams, half will move to U10 next year and half will repeat U9.
