If you are a female doctor with kids, when did you have them, and how do you feel about it in retrospect?

If you are female and a doctor, I don’t understand the need to have kids. The job is very demanding. If you want to dedicate yourself to your job like this, then don’t have kids.

Then you’d be complaining that doctors don’t understand what it’s like to have a family and a life. Being a mom makes me a better doctor and able to relate to my patients. It’s not like being a catholic priest called by God to do the work endlessly- it’s a job like anything else that needs boundaries.
