Yale likely letter

Haven't heard yet of anyone from NoVa, but i'm sure theres at least one at TJ. Last year there were at least 3 TJ kids that got STEM likely letters. Blair in MD had at least one kid last year.

I know kids who got them from Columbia last year.


My nephew who got the Yale likely also got Columbia likely (mid March)

Last I checked, the youngest male astronaut in the US was in his 30s during the 1970s. Or was he a Katy Perry type astronaut?

Was the gold medal summer or winter Olympics? Or was it IMO?

Please help me understand the purpose of a likely letter. Why is it "likely" and not guaranteed acceptance? How is it different from a regular acceptance letter?

The Ivies have agreed to release their results on the same day (Ivy Day) so I guess that’s their way of cheating?
