Good pancake mixes and kitchen scale

What self respecting woman wants to make pancakes for a grown man whining and complaining that hers taste yucky? She should laugh in his face and hand him the spatula.

Not OP, but I'm not doing this. Anyone eating pancakes in my house gets the pancakes they are given, and will be freaking happy about it lol.

She came here asking about mixes because she decided she wasn’t going to tell him to stick it up his you-know-what like we would do. So rather than having her go on an expensive wild goose chase, she needs to figure out what he thinks of as “good”.

The mixes can’t all be bad. There might be something else going on. Are they burned? Heat too high? Raw in the middle? Tough from overmixing?
