I am 47 & had the same symptoms. Ended up being fibroids and caused anemia. I got transfusions and an IUD and both the crazy bleeding (and cramping that accompanied) and anemia are resolved. If my sleep disruption and mild night sweats get more unbearable, I’ll start estrogen patches.
