Anyone's tween boy suddenly really obsessed with cologne?

Teh cologne ohase comes after the Axe phase. Be happy he is through thar - I remember having to hold my breath walking down the hallway then the smell was so strong! Yes, it's a thing

As a tween? That is early. My son got interested in skin and hair care when he started college. He now does a combo of specific soap, body wash, shampoo, lotion, and cologne. As a result, he and his clothes smell good, but only if you are close to him to sniff him.

You've never walked by a group of middle school boys on their way to possibly meet up with some girls. I don't think they care about the girls as much as getting ready. Half their bonding is done via scalding the lungs of adults around them. Its horrible but also kind of sweet and I dont know if the cologne is making me cry or the passing of time.

Yep our 15 year old is into it. He's spending his own money that he earns as a lifeguard but I'd like to tell him to maybe dial back the amount he puts on.
