For both CAP and SMCS, or just SMCS? |
I think it is new. |
Just SMCS |
They are the same position level. |
By some accounting, an AP is responsible for 400 students (half a grade), and Magnet coordinator is responsible for 400 students (100/grade, 4 grades), for half the students' day. 100 of those students are in each half-grade and also in Magnet or CAP at the same time. Pretty similar load. |
SMCS + he is still an assistant principal. |
A 9th grade AP compared to the magnet coordinator - very different jobs. |
Mr. Klein is fine, he just isn't qualified to lead SMCS. |
Oh. So he just got an extra responsibility added to his already full plate. That’s not good… |
STEM will be much less to coordinate than SMCS |
| What does a magnet coordinator do? |
STEM is still 1.5 years away. |
Coordinates the magnet program. |
Why not? The coordinator’s job isn’t to take or teach classes. |
STEM is the broader theme. The Blair criteria-based program is still SMCS. |
