My eldest is 9 and doesn't need glasses. Youngest is 6 and just got her first pair.
It's genetic. Both me and DH got ours in ES. |

| It’s no big deal. Plenty of kids get glasses in elementary school, especially if there is family history of myopia. |

| iPad and the amount of screens in k-12 = unhelpful. I had glasses at 7 pre ipad though, prob genetics and not enough outdoor time. Outdoor is best bc looking at stuff at far distances is good for your eye. |
