Gallbladder pain - go to ER?

Anonymous
Not to scare you OP but we thought my 20 yr old had gallstones (based on symptoms) and it ended up being a massive clot in her IVC (inferior vena cava) It was found from a thorough abdominal ultrasound and then verified by CT scan at ER.

Now she is having pain on her left torso and up into her shoulder. Back in urgent care
Today. Chest x ray, EKG, Covid and flu tests
All negative. The want her to do a blood clot test.

I dont know what’s wrong with this kid!

It's good that they are doing the clot test. Often they don't.

She should go to the ER.

I was septic by the time I went. I don’t recall anything for several days. I almost died trying to not ruin Christmas.
