| I don't get my team gifts I guess I'm a scrooge. |
You still have time. |
+1. They don't expire in California. |
Make sure that you give enough for free shipping. I don't normally shop at Target nor go to stores so it would be annoying to have to go to a store or pay extra depending on finances. Amazon is good as you can buy a gift card with a gift card and get what you want. |
Amazon is the best, followed by Target. I don't like the "gift Visas/Mastercards". They are sometimes a pain to activate. And doing two payment methods at a register can be a nuisance (if your purchase costs more than the card has). And they often have an activation fee to purchase. Grocery is third because it is brand limited. Sometimes I give gift cards to my town's indie grocery store but only to people who live and work in the town. It sells alcohol and fancy bakery items so I figure $25 can get one nice table item. Starbucks cards are nice as a thank you that can be passed on to others if the recipient doesn't use them. I've had two in the last ten years. I don't do Starbucks but my work has a place. I used one to buy breakfast for a coworker and a tea for myself when we had a working meeting. Regarding alcohol, I also don't drink. I received a bottle of champagne once and turned into champagne sorbet. Which was good once. |

^^ disagree, as I am not spending a penny in either of those places right now. Boycotting Target because of their DEI cuts, and Amazon because Bezos is lower than scum for his Trump support and trashing the Post. I wouldn't want either of those GCs

Then you could give them to people less well off than you. Target was hypocritical but most of the alternatives suck. Regarding Amazon, you can probably buy a subscription to a media source you want to support. |
