PSA: Cut your vent stitch!!

I keep mine. The stitching is hidden and I prefer my pockets to lay flat.

LOL I lost some weight recently and pulled out an old jacket I hadn't worn in a long while. Still has the vent closed. I will remove it today!

I saw this the other day and felt so badly for the person. I went to an etiquette class in the late 90s and they covered this.

And who can ignore that most egregious example of manufacturer-convenience, those ribbons sewed into the shoulders of fast fashion tops. practically every woman under 35 in my office has shown up occasionally hanger ribbons hanging out.


It seems like they are both in fast fashion or in higher end things.
But I think they are meant to hang up the clothes on a hanger. I don't think they are meant to be cut out
