+1 yes, that's very nice OP. You MUST not be a dual or even single fed, or contractor household. Way to be completely obtuse in this moment. Most of us aren't going to be taking a vacation to Europe next summer. |
| I hope you have a nice trip. |
| Congrats? |
Indeed. No threads allowed about spending money today. |
Read the room. Please. |
| Yawn. We usually fly business to Europe just because we are used to it, but it’s really not necessary because the flights are so short. Now Asia or Oceania, that’s a different matter. |
Yawn. Ew you fly commercial? Nice try, PJ or GTFO. |
| Congratulations OP! I love travelling as well. But at this moment, I works as a nurse in military hospital and next weeks won't be paid again. Hopefully will be paid back when the shutdown is over, but there are no guarantees. We are required to work and still have to get dressed, pay for gas, eat food etc. For my last 15 years working in government, I have never missed a paycheck. Even, with the last shutdown a few years ago, I was being paid during the shutdown. I will be tapping into my savings soon, and luckily I have some, but other co-workers at work seem to be really worried how much longer they can survive without being paid. |
| I'm sorry there are so many jerks in this thread, OP. I bet it's just one miserable person. This is the travel board. You posted about a good deal on travel. I don't know why everyone is jumping down your throat. |
| I fear I’ll never be in the “3k/person is a good deal” tax bracket. It sounds lovely, though. Enjoy your trip! |
Same! But do agree with OPs main point about booking early. We’re paying a little over 3k total for a family of four for nonstop to Rome next Spring. That’s in “the poors” class though. I booked right when the tickets came out and just checked and the tickets are now over double what we paid. |
Sometimes they are relatively cheaper again at the last minute, at least in economy. We aren't great planners, so booked just one month before for an August 2025 trip to Italy and prices were relatively low, at least compared to the prior year. |
| New person. Braggart! Hope karma gets you. |
Commando or thong tonight? |
OK. What does any of this have to do with business class airfare? |
