January is always the time when anything that couldn't sell suddenly does! If ever you have a house that no one wants, just relist it in January and, boom, the January crazies will snatch it up.

True. We bought a fugly house in January that had been sitting for months and all of a sudden it got multiple offers righttt after our offer was accepted and the buyers were basically begging us through their agent to break the contract so they could take a higher backup offer.

We got our overpriced house in January when suddenly the liked our offer which was -20%!

Anyway, Somebody in that tidy little family swings. I like to think it's the het couple and one of them realized that the other was way more into same gender than the other. While it's most likely the dude was really into other dudes, I would prefer to think it was the cute little wifey. I have a very active imagination.

What i really think is nasty divorce. Somebody wouldn't let the price drop so it didn't sell and once their lawyers took all of their money, they decided to sell and stop bleeding cash. Also, in Arlington, there are several families who are multigenerational. There's one behind me and another on the street corner. Both are immigrant families but from very different countries. (one EU one Asian).
