My DD is usually very focussed and calm but has been sitting on her finished ED application. I finally read her supplemental essay last night. Not only do 2 sentences end in prepositions, the entire essay ends with one. She is furious at me for insisting on the edits. I keep reminding myself to be the adult, and that her anger is just bottled up stress, but seriously. . .just fix it and submit! Let's move on to the waiting phase and enjoy November!

Submitted 5 including her ED. Will submit 2 easy ones that don't require supplementals and have deadlines of 11/3 and 11/15 later.

Hopefully we won't have to worry about any RD applications.

Submitted one last week and received acceptance yesterday. Submitted four more yesterday and two more in the works.

Perhaps not hitting submit is a sign that perhaps that ED isn't the way or isn't the school for YOUR DD.

Which one is this? All schools should have a weekday deadline. Sigh

Even if it were a Friday deadline, it’s always right after Halloween and end of 1st quarter. Not ideal.

This whole thing is a game, just like many things in life, but I’m excited for this particular game to be over soon.

DS is finally done with the EA apps. No ED. Not planning on any RD unless a bunch of EAs are a no.

Most EA decisions don’t come out until January and February, long after the RD deadline has passed. People know this, right? Surprised that some think they can wait for decisions to work on RD apps.

Actually, many of the ones my DS applied to release EA decisions in December.
