OP here, we were thinking there would be less of a tax burden than MOCO. Also, we aren't tied to the schools. I would have to commute into work, but not a big deal since it would probably only be 1-2x/week and no kids at home.

We are relatively new to FCC and have no kids. We've loved it so far because we like to walk everywhere and the traffic isn't an issue because we work from home. So many great restaurants and we love the Farmer's Market.

DP. Taxes are higher in MD, even after including VA's car tax.

+1. I’ve stopped mentioning that on here though because random moco posters pop up and get aggressive the second you bring it up.

Do you want an elevator? I like this one in Reston, walkable to the town center, but no elevator.
