Ultimately, all of the schools you mentioned are excellent. That your son is at Beauvoir tips the scales a bit toward St. Albans in terms of admission. That said, maybe let you kid spend a few years becoming a human being before hand-selecting the school that may or may not be a good fit. Life may take twists and turns different that the three or four years that you've experienced so far. Then, figure out what is best for where they actually are (not where you project them to be in five / eight years) and figure it out once you have the data and admissions offers.

+1. This is quite the treatise OP. Why are you so concerned about this now, when your son is only in Prek?

The application process sort of starts in 2nd grade - so its not that early...

Start attending school tours and in house coffees in 2nd grade. Beauvoir early application is done completely in the early fall of 3rd grade so yes she has time but in a few years she will start to think about it and it helps to know whether STA is your first option or whether you are looking elsewhere...

And if a Beauvoir family chooses not to apply early to either St Alban's or NCS, is that tantamount to not being admitted in the regular decision cycle?

Precisely. This is a thread for the OP to virtue signal their political beliefs. Why one would do that on an anonymous board I have no idea. It has nothing to do with their DS.
