I'm 5'9 , I seem to attract men at my eyelevel in the 5'7 -5'11 range. I never had a tall men hit on me while all my short friends get the super tall men .

I always wondered short woman feel petite all the time why do they need a 6'2 guy for . As a taller woman I would love to wear heels and be smaller than a guy . Like taller woman would appreciate a tall man more but they don't like us sigh

As a 5'9" woman I have a 5'6" dh. Guys taller than me just weren't that into me.

Remember my old male (super sweet dad like) supervisor asking why I didn't date taller guys. Told him to watch the public who came into our building that weekend and see how many taller guys were with taller women, or super petite women.

Came back to work on Monday and he was floored (his wife was just a couple inches shorter than he was) and somewhat disgusted that many larger taller guys wanted to date women who looked like dolls next to them. He had never noticed before, and this was about 20 years ago.

RIP J, you were the best supervisor ever.

With my amendment, this is true.

I'm 5'4", so not super short, but I'm slim and was especially tiny in my 20s. I dated guys of all heights. Some of them were VERY into how little I was. At first it was kind of flattering, it's nice to be physically pleasing to your partner. But it started to bother me. These guys seemed to get off on being much bigger and stronger than me. Like my relative weakness turned them on. That's messed up.

It become a dealbreaker for me. I didn't want to be doted on like a child, I wanted a man who would see me as his equal, irrespective of our relative size. I wound up marrying a man who is 5'11" and could care less, and has never once made a big thing out of me being shorter or smaller than him.

I find this kind of language regressive and kind of gross from men.

I'm also 5'4" and never got comfortable with the taller guys. You hug them and you are hugging their waist.

I don't know any tall guy that considered this when marrying a short woman. Their tall genes dominated anyway.

Is this OP sockpuppeting? No one believes your dumb made up stories. What is most definitely disgusting is you writing dumn shit like this.

Go back to the husband you settled for (does he know, poor guy) and stop spewing your nonsense here.

I think you are a woman who doesn't understand men.

Most men don't think that far ahead when they are dating or even getting married.

Lol ask my 6'3" DH if he treats me (5') like I'm helpless or a child. I mean, it's nice that he can reach things for me in the top shelf, but in no way does he treat me like I'm helpless.

Men like petite women. 5'3" 110lbs is considered ideal.

Get much taller or heavier than that and interest greatly reduces.

I’m 5’5 so average but dated a guy that was 6’4 and while not a dealbreaker, I never liked the height difference. I prefer to be able to reach a man’s shoulders at least. Current love is 5’11 and the difference feels perfect. Interestingly, I’m one of the shortest women he’s ever dated.

I am a very short woman and have never experienced anything even remotely similar. I've dated short guys and I've dated tall guys. Perhaps, like OP, you're just too dumb to date smart guys of every height.

Are you fat? Or very big busted? It's not about smart/dumb, it's about whether you have a body type that attracts this specific fetish. There are plenty of "smart" guys like this.

You're disgusting and so very insecure. Probably the reason you can't find a man to date you regardless of height.

Oh look, another moron who hasn't been able to find a man so she has to lash out at the women who were. How pathetic are you?

I'm tall and DH is extremely tall, maybe it's just you.

I’m 6’2” and I like short women. It never translated into who I actually dated and married though. My wife is 5’8” and my previous relationship was 5’8” also. The shortest person I dated was 5’3”. Everyone else was 5’7” or taller.
