BTW I am not a Democrat let alone progressive. But rule of law, equal justice under the law, and the Constitution really matter to me.

It's sad to think of all the unreported and untreated mental problems from the right. Is that why they tend to be the ones that snap?

The right doesn't just cut off people it doesn't agree with, it prosecutes them so they have to spend money defending baseless charges.

Actually it's not true that good nice kind people come with ALL opinions and behavior. Cruel and bullying actions are not done by good nice kind people. Good kind nice people don't threaten those who disagree with violence.

I'm vehemently anti-MAGA but I have some acquaintances with whom I disagree politically. I keep that piece out of our relationship. NP. If you believe that a certain group of people are less entitled to something because of the color of their skin, that goes beyond politics and is absolutely a moral issue.
