My 9yo insisited on getting one like this (not this exact costume but similar) and I have no idea how he's going to actually walk around trick or treating in it! It seems so awkward to me. I warned him, not much else I can do lol. They don't dress up at school so that's not an issue.

My dd was an inflatable chicken last year and had no problem. It isn't heavy. The batteries lasted all evening although I carried spares.
