The lies you tell.

Tell me about the monthly expenses of nursing, then. After you’re set up with your reusable bottles and a pump, how much are you spending on nursing each and every month?

With my daughter (born in 2019) the LCs had me spending over $800/month just on supplements, in addition to renting a hospital grade pump. And I never got to sleep because I had to triple feed every 2-3 hours. But sure, the $50/month I spend on formula at Costco for my son now is the real issue.

Most women don’t have to see an LC or buy supplements, or rent a hospital grade pump, so don’t act like that cost applies to any woman who’s nursing. If OP’s premise was about the cost of formula vs. a bunch of super expensive add-ons that you need because you had issues nursing, then that’s a different conversation.

It's actually the exact same conversation, because the nutjobs demonizing formula like the ones in this thread (and literally every thread about formula, ever) are what keep LCs and similar quacks in business.

PP here. Who’s demonizing formula? It’s not demonizing something to say X costs more than Y.

It’s lower middle class to middle class that get screwed. The cut off for WIC the program where you get free formula and free food for women and children has an income cut off of around 60,000 for 4 people. So let’s say you are a family of 4 making 75,000. You have to pay for formula, don’t get free food, subsidized child care, etc.

It ends up absolutely not worth it to make that extra $15,000 because you just end up not qualifying for so many free services and programs. And if you baby has any type of allergy and you have to buy a special type of formula like milk protein free formula it is really expensive.

Saying feeding your kids formula makes them stupid or gives them autism is demonizing. Reading is fundamental.

No it was more than one person, and I don't actually care what you said to them. I said that nutjobs demonizing formula are in this thread and every thread about formula and you pretended that wasn't true. You were wrong, or I guess just lying since you now say that you actually replied to one of the comments that you then pretended not to have read in response to my post.
