After watching last night Angel City/Kansas City game it's pretty apparent you have to have an angle or the right representation because a lot of these players are not professional level soccer players. Mary Long started for KC last night. She has no touch, she showed no attributes on why she would be out there at 18 years old. Then the camera kept going to her parents in the owners boxes as her parent own the team. The announcers clearly were being careful about their critique of her play. I guess we should expect this to happen more often...it's happening at all levels in girls soccer. |
Oh sweet summer child, are you need to sports or life in general? Nepotism happens in all aspects of life in every nation on earth. |

soccer combine? I can see for the American Football, but for soccer?
wow Americans do the soccer wrong. |
Its better than nothing. Traditionally with a combine physical attributes (speed, weight, how high you can jump, etc) are all recorded. Additionally theres video of each player. While Im sure connections will get some to the next level. If you dont have the basic physical attributes it might disqualify some. The issue for NWSL is Berman DOES NOT want to get involved with acadamies. They make far more $$$ selling new franchise locations and getting cities to pay for their stadiums. Eventually they'll need to field better players and will run out of new franchise locations. Unless they plan to expand outside of America. |
Lmao who actually pays to watch female soccer? It’s only good to make money in bets. Crap is so predictable. |
You’re an idiot. The NWSL games are packed. The PP did not mention anything about paying to watch a game. |
