Don't forget he'll also compliment a big d like Arnold Palmer's. Apparently that's another plus for him. |
British aristocratic families have a mile long history of pimping their daughters for seats of power, this is not really a big deal, if Brits can get a good deal out of Trump they will even resurrect Diana. |
Introduce yes, "present" no. Both Charlotte and George participate in official events now. |
It's not. Those off-off-the-cuff remarks of Trump are basically all he is capable of now in his current cognitive state. He has a lot of admiration for the royal family and considers them worthy of positive attention. |
Trump just wants the attention focused on him. As President of the United States, he gets that as a head of state. Once he leave office, they will move on to his successor. |
Agreed. Yes he's being weird but he is a weird, awkward person. And he uses the word "beautiful" all the time to describe all kinds of things, so it's not even a compliment from him. He called that stupid legislation the Big Beautiful Bill. I mean what even are words? Also, honestly, the royals look taken with him and it just reminds me that I don't really like them either. Being a British royal is Trump's dream job because he could feel very important and have his photo taken a lot and be fawned over, but there's very minimal actual work involved. Actually, Kate and William are well known for avoiding doing much of what the royals consider "work" (mostly going to events and giving speeches someone else wrote for you and posing for photos and maybe cutting a ribbon and then leaving) so I totally get Trump admiring Kate Middleton, he would LOVE to be the Princess of Wales, that's like his ideal situation. |
He's no Obama. That was a joyful visit. |
Oh honey, he wants to be KING. He's said as much. |
Holy over reaction! |
+1 This is not even in the top 100 of problematic things that Trump has done this month. |
And this is why child abuse is so common across class lines. There’s always someone more powerful to impress. I would never let my daughter in the same room at T, let alone “introduce” her. |
Ew. He's so gross. |
You're silly. |
Lol. They can't help themselves! |
I think she looks fine — and I am decidedly not a fan. I especially like her hat. I’ll give her extra props if the hat, conveniently, keeps some people from looming in too close. |
