Thoughtlessly acting on your emotions will get you in trouble. Thoughtfully considering your emotions will help you.

How could I not? How can anyone not? Our world is literally burning to death!

You are a blind fool if you don’t have at least some level of eco-anxiety, and are not feeling daily distress about the massive, cataclysmic, impacts of the climate crisis we have created.

I feel helplessness, grief, and worry about the rapidly approaching environmental disaster and the end of human life on this planet!

Calm down, Greta.

I think the most common is the smiley face. Followed by the little pile of poop with eyes.

No anxiety, no feeling of daily distress. I love this life, love people around me. Love this season! I guess I am fool in your anxious world.

lol, go finish reading the stoics and cry alone in your man cave you douche. The rest of us are busy being human.

You sound...... emotional, over a simple sentence that wasn't directed at you. Quite emotional.

So what?

worried, sad, resentful, irritated, annoyed. I realized when I'm content or happy I don't usually think of it as a feeling. If it's a negative feeling, I recognize it as a feeling.

I’m asking because I started thinking about how often I feel truly happy, not just content, and wondering if I’m most often happy or if other emotions spring up more frequently.

I think mine would be:
Anxious
Grateful
Peaceful
Bored
Excited/anticipation

Interesting.
I think mine are the same

Bewilderment and frustration. I recognize that IQ is a normative measure but it seems that most people I deal with on a daily basis struggle to reach 85 or 1 standard deviation below the norm.
