Towel Pants & Parkas: excessive or necessary?

If you aren’t sure your kid is committed yet, ask around for hand me downs. Every year, parents turn in outgrown parkas for younger kids on our swim team. You can either pick out the stitching if their name is on it, or wait to see if you want to buy a new one and hand the old one down.

Another vote for a parka. My kids wore theirs every day for 7+ years. I also agree with buying a generic one on Swim Outlet vs buying a team one. You can get the same color as the team, but it will save you a lot of money vs buying the team version

We started off buying non-team branded parkas. Still not cheap (~$100), but not the $200+ that team branded parkas can cost.
