For sure - we have been very pleased, the child is doing work on or above grade and I would say there are maybe 5-6 kids on that level. Loving swim lessons and aftercare specials. Socially there have been some challenges as my child was begging to be transferred to the Spanish track to be closer to friends, which wasn’t possible obviously. But the kids have joint lunch and recess and aftercare is mixed up as well, so they do get to see their friends multiple times a day. Love that they have playground and the field for aftercare soccer. And it’s just nice to be able to have some independence and walk to school with friends without parents in upper grades and self dismiss when needed. I am worried about what will happen in 5th as people peek off to charters. But if your kid is currently in third grade or below - the new middle school path will hopefully stabilize the upper grades.
