I don't have an issue with AI. But if that weirdo Sam Altman should shut up for a day that would be awesome.

I disagree. As human we are only using a tiny portion of our potential. Humans are incredibly smart. The more we can do with AI, the more we can unleash our potential.

Also, each of those prompts costs something like $10 in computing and electricity costs, they just aren't getting passed along to the gen pop end user right now. If they were actually charging what it costs to run these systems, almost nobody would pay it.

You're off by a couple orders of magnitude. The true cost is closer to 10 cents, not 10 dollars.
