Parents going overboard on dorm spending

Early 90s parents didn’t even come into the dorm. I had some grunge rock posters. Give this age group a break. They will be cleaning and decorating for the rest of their lives. Get your extra long sheets and comforter and call it a day.

All the girls are into baby blue, pastel pink, gold accents and BOWS. Before that they were into a shade of green that's not quite mint but not quite army either. Before THAT, it was pastel pink, white, and grey/silver. Nobody has any original taste anymore.

So how easily does that wallpaper come off….?

I don't understand the reasoning, frankly:
1. It looks like such a pain to put up and take down. I understand the really fancy ones just hire companies to do it.
2. It's just feels so SMOTHERING in a tiny space. I'd feel claustrophobic.

I totally agree with you. I am from the south and I have allergies and all of the Facebook. Photos are just making me think, “no. All that fabric is going to gather dust and never be washed.“

My social media feeds are full of Facebook friends posting pictures of ridiculously decorated dorm rooms

It’s a southern, girl thing. Boys don’t care about this stuff.
