You can make your own cookbook then.

Sure, if you’re the sort of person who dislikes learning interesting new things.

You seem confused and describing yourself. Read that post again.

I've been baking through the Southern Living list of Vintage Cakes that Deserve a Comeback for a few years now. I've made 50+ so far, with less than 10 to go.

So, not exactly a cookbook but same type of project.

The fellow who cooked every recipe Ina has ever made and Instagrammed/blogged about it is https://storeboughtisfineblog.wpcomstaging.com/ - and he's fab. Very fun/informative follow.

Most of my cookbooks are pretty thick. I would start with an issue of Cook's Illustrated first.

There is a woman on Instagram who is or has cooked through the Skinnytaste books. I don't know if she's finished but she's gotten quite far with it

Would love to do this with the Skinny Girl sheet pan cookbook!

I have cooked through the following -

https://www.amazon.com/Elegant-Taste-Thailand-Cha-Cuisine/dp/0943389232

https://www.amazon.com/Prashad-Cooking-Indian-Masters-J-Indersingh-Kalra/dp/8170230063/

https://www.amazon.com/Mrs-Balbir-Singhs-Indian-cookery/dp/0263056910

I have also cooked many recipes from The Joy of Cooking, I have tried many recipes from Maangchi youtube channel, The Art of Mexican Cooking - Diana Kennedy, Ranbeer Brar show.

But truth be told, nowadays, I am relying on youtube for recipes and also being able to discern just from experience what would taste good.
