Best app to log hours for driver's license

I had my kid drive everywhere we went from when she got her permit for the 9 min. The exception was the first month.

Day 1-2 parking lot to side street
Week 1 - no rush hour
Month 1 - no highways

Months 2-9 she was our driver every time we in the car anywhere

So we didn’t log hours because there’s couldn’t be taken until the end of 9 months and we definitely drive for more than 45 hours in that time with our busy lives, trips and their practices and sports alone.

My kid was highly motivated to drive so this schedule worked.

Do you actually need a log? We’ve been keeping track with a note on my phone, but just a running total— not “drove 20 min on xx date.” We could switch to that if it’s required, though.
