Black sweats or joggers for travel that don't pull or fade?

Vuori is the answer. Bought mine in the pandemic 5 years ago, wear them all the time, still look great.

It's your laundry soap causing at least some of the fading. Find one without optical or fabric brightener. I use sone varieties of Persil or the Costco dupe. Or use a soap like Woolite Dark. Piling is from bad quality fabric usually.

OP here. I actually think it's our hard water that makes it worse. But some fabrics fade and pill, others don't. I do have a Vuori sweatshirt that hasn't faded or pilled despite our crappy water, so I am trying that.

What I'm gathering from this thread is that fabrics with fewer natural fibers might hold their color better. A bummer because I do generally like clothes with more natural fibers. But since my goal here is travel clothes that will look fresh and unstained at all times, I will make an exception.
